End sewage dumping in our Rivers

Britain’s coasts, rivers, and lakes are being polluted by illegal sewage dumping. The Conservatives have turned a blind eye and weakened rather than strengthened regulation, causing serious damage to our countryside and people's health. 

In 2023 alone, raw sewage was dumped into rivers in Shipley constituency 1753. This is unacceptable. 

I am committed to ending sewage dumping in the River Aire and the River Wharfe and reutrning our natural waterways to the pristine condition the should be in.
