Shipley MP Anna Dixon has announced that she will vote against the Assisted Dying Bill when it returns to Parliament for its crucial third reading this Friday. 

While speaking in Parliament yesterday, the MP highlighted several specific cases involving her local constituents who have been unjustly fined for parking violations. She urged the Government to implement stronger independent regulation and provide clearer guidelines for consumers regarding parking enforcement.

In her correspondence to the over 30 sports clubs in the Shipley constituency, the Member of Parliament praised the work local clubs do “bringing communities together”, and encouraged them not to miss the chance to benefit from the £100 million of new grassroots funding announced by the new Labour Government last month. 

A senior government health minister has criticised the previous Conservative administration's plan to rebuild Airedale General Hospital in Steeton, calling it "nothing more than false hope" and "dodgy claims."

Following a meeting with representatives from Royal Mail, Anna Dixon said: "Royal Mail did apologise that it took them two months to respond to my requests for a meeting.
